The folks at SIT were kind enough to make me my own shop-exclusive set of Silencers spec'd with Jazzmasters in mind! Though I wanted an "offset-friendly" set, these also work great on hollowbodies and semi-hollows, Tele's, etc. These strings really remind me of the great old blue label GHS Burnished strings I used on my archtops in the 90's. A great middle ground between rounds and flats, they are warmer and sweeter than straight roundwounds, but not as soft and mellow as full flats. They have a good bite, but with a smoother and quieter finger feel, easy bending and they stay in tune!
